The unit has a firmware update system which works as follows;
1.- Download the update .zip file.
2.- Unzip the file and check it has the update .IMG file and the instructions txt files.
3.- Copy the .IMG file on the USB root .
4. - The AX-TV unit needs to be connected to the TV to run this process, unplug the USB memory
from your computer and connect it to the AX-TV.
5. – Remove the AX-TV power supply, the firmware upgrade button is underneath the unit and is
marked "upgrade" on the case. Place the unit sideways or face down, with a sharp object press the
upgrade button.
6. – Re connect the power supply, hold down the button for a few seconds. The on screen menu will
now include a new update option. With the remote control arrow buttons select the Apply Update
option.
7. - In the following menu choose the Udisc option and select the file with the upgrade you want to
apply, press the remote control OK button to run the upgrade. The unit will reboot, check on your TV
that the AX-TV starts properly.

Factory image
The unit has an image of the factory version, to access to this version, unplug the power and press
the upgrade button placed on the lower part of the unit.
Plug the power again and release the upgrade button. In the menu appears the Aply Update section,
in the following menu select the media option, you can find in this folder the image file:
default_recovery.img, select it and press OK to run it.
