Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified and trained person in
accordance with local and national safety regulations. Unauthorized repairs
could cause personal injury or machine damage.
The machine does not start.
Possible fault
– The door is not closed properly
– The machine is not plugged in
properly.
– The circuit breaker has tripped.
A few minutes after switching on, the "Fill/Drain" indicator light flashes
(fault code F..E appears in the display)
Possible fault
– The valves are closed.
– The filters in the water inlet hose
are dirty.
– The water pressure is too low.
The wash cycle finishes too early and the "Fill/Drain" indicator light flashes
(fault code F A appears in the display)
Possible fault
– The drain hose is kinked.
– The drain pump is blocked.

Solution
^ Close the door securely.
^ Insert the plug.
^ Reset the circuit breaker. See the data
plate for minimum amperage.
^ If the circuit breaker trips again. Contact
Miele.
Solution
^ Turn the program selector to the "Stop"
position (the fault code goes out).
^ Turn the machine off using the "On/Off"
button.
^ Open the valves or clean the filters (see
"Cleaning and care").
^ Switch on the machine again and re-select
the program.
Solution
^ Turn the program selector to the "Stop"
position (the fault code goes out).
^ Correct the fault.
^ Pump away the water and start the
program again (see additional program
"Drain" and "Turning on").
