23.
ROLLOUT COMMAND
The
ROLLOUT command is used for writing the contents of
memory to diskette.
The ROLLOUT command supports the
Single
and
dual
memory
maps of EXORciser
I I
as well as the Single
memory map
oT
EXORciser
I.
Options exist for writing
memory
directly
into
a
diskette
file or for writing to a scratch
diskette.

Use
The
ROLLOUT
command
is
invoked
with
the
following
command line:
ROLLOUT
C<name~J
C;<options~J
where
<name> is the name of a diskette file and <options> is
one of the options descT'ibed below.
The
file namel
if
used,
is
.given the default suffix "LO" and the defcault logical unit
number zeT'o.
In some casesl
it is invalid to have
the
File
name
specified
with
logical
unit
number one (see section
23.1.4>.
If a file name is specified on the command line,- it
must
be
the
name of a file which does not already exist
in
the diT'ectory.
WheneveT' the file is created,
it
will
be
in
the
memory-image
format
and
allocated contiguously on the
diskette.
There
are
four
different
ways
in
which
the
ROLLOUT
command
can
be
used.
Each of the four uses of ROLLOUT is
specified via
th~
<options> field.
