DOSGEN COMMAND

Use
The DOSGEN command is invoked wi th the TolloUling command

line:
DOSGEN C:(unit:>J L;<options:>J
where <unit> is the logical unit
numbe~
(1-3)
of
the
drive
containing
the diskette to be DOSGENed,
and <options> can be
one or both of the opticn letters
desc~ibed
below:

Perform write/read test.
U
Generate minimum sqstem (user diskette>.
If
<unit~
is not specified,
logical
unit
one
will
be
used as a
default.
Logical unit
zero
cannot be DOSGENed.
The
diskette
to
be
DOSGENed
must
be
placed in the
logical unit speciried on the command line (logical unit one,

An
alphanumeric name, a maximum of 8
characters
in
length,
which
will
appear
on
subsequent
heading lines
rrom the DIR and FREE commands.
The
name
must
begin
with an alphabetic
character.
The date of generation in
six-digit,
numeric
Torm
as
indicated
by
the
parenthetical inset.
A
maximum
of
twenty
characters
used
