EMCOPY
COMMAND
The EMCOPY command allows files from
a
user's
EDOS
2
system
diskette
to
be
copied to and catalogued on an MDOS
diskette.
Options exist ror
copying
the
entire
diskette,
selected
files~
or single files.
13. 1 Use
The EMCO?Y command is invoked with the following command
line:
EMCOPY «name l>JC,<name 2>J Li<options>J
where <name 1>
is
the name of an EDOS rile,
<name 2> can be a
new
name
that
is
to
be
used
for
<name
1>
on the MDOS
diskette, and <options> can be one
or
more
of
the
option
letters
defined
belo~.
If
neither of the two
file
names is
entered on the command line,
then an <options>
speCification
must be present.
Tha
following option
letters are
available.
They are described, in detail in the followin~ sections.

File is of the ASCII record format.

F'ile is of the binary
record
format
as
created
by
the Macro Assembler with the
OPT REL
option.

Set the delete
protection
on
the
MOOS

the
MOOS
file

contiguous
space allocation.
Copy
selected
files
diskette.

Copy the entire EDOS diskette.

diskette
