The spacer frame can be installed be‐
tween the chimney and the ceiling. This
creates a shadow which gives the illu‐
sion of a gap between the ceiling and
the chimney. This is useful if the ceiling
is not level or is uneven. The hood is
aligned vertically with the spacers sup‐
plied. Visual irregularities between the
chimney and the ceiling are then con‐
cealed by the shadow.
If you wish to install the hood with the
spacer frame, remove the four inserts
from the fixing holes.
Mount the spacer frame onto the in‐
stallation frame.
