Before a M ac c an b e u sed w ith a C amRanger, t he a pplication s hould b e l oaded o n t he M ac, a t
no a dditional c ost t o t he u ser, f rom t he C amRanger w ebsite,
http://www.CamRanger.com/Downloads. O nce d ownloaded, t he C amRanger a pplication
needs t o b e r egistered. R egistration r equires I nternet c onnectivity. B efore p roceeding, c onfirm
Internet c onnectivity ( do n ot c onnect t o t he C amRanger n etwork).
Launch t he C amRanger a pplication a nd t he f ollowing s creen a ppears. I f t he r egistration p op-­‐up
does n ot a ppear, f rom t he " Help" t ab o n t he M ac m enu b ar, c lick " Register," a nd t he f ollowing
screen w ill a ppear.
Enter t he 8 -­‐character C amRanger s erial n umber. T he s erial n umber i s l ocated b oth o n t he
bottom o f t he b ack c over a s w ell a s a bove t he b attery u nderneath t he b ack c over. N ote t hat t he
serial n umber c ontains o nly l etters a nd N O n umbers.
Press t he " Register" b utton t o c omplete t he r egistration p rocess. A m essage b ox w ill a ppear
indicating r egistration w as s uccessful a nd t he M ac c an b e u sed w ith t he C amRanger. E xit t he
application a nd t hen p roceed w ith t he s etup p rocess a s d etailed b elow i n t he C amRanger S etup
section.
If r egistration f ails, c onfirm I nternet c onnectivity a nd t he C amRanger s erial n umber b efore
