Before a n A ndroid d evice c an b e u sed w ith a C amRanger, t he a pplication s hould b e
loaded o n t he A ndroid d evice, a t n o a dditional c ost t o t he u ser, f rom t he G oogle p lay
store. O nce d ownloaded, t he C amRanger a pp n eeds t o b e r egistered. R egistration
requires I nternet c onnectivity. B efore p roceeding, c onfirm I nternet c onnectivity ( do
not c onnect t o t he C amRanger n etwork).
Launch t he A ndroid C amRanger a pp a nd t he f ollowing s creen a ppears. ( Note: o n t he
initial r egistration t he a pp m ay s kip t his s creen a nd p roceed d irectly t o t he
following r egistration s creen).
Press t he " Register" b utton t o l oad t he r egistration v iew s een b elow.
Enter t he 8 -­‐character C amRanger s erial n umber. T he s erial n umber i s l ocated b oth
on t he b ottom o f t he b ack c over a s w ell a s a bove t he b attery u nderneath t he b ack
cover. N ote: T he C amRanger d oes n ot n eed t o b e o n d uring t he r egistration s tep a nd
the s erial n umber c ontains o nly l etters a nd N O n umbers.
Press t he " Register" b utton t o a ttempt r egistration. A m essage b ox w ill a ppear
indicating r egistration w as s uccessful t he A ndroid d evice c an b e u sed w ith t he
CamRanger. T he f ollowing s creen w ill a ppear. A ny r egistered a nd a vailable
CamRanger n etworks w ill b e l isted.
