The light distribution between the vertical
tube and the right eyepiece tube can be
switched with the optical path switching lever.
For binocular observation, move the lever
foward. When Nikon DS camera head is
mounted to the C mount of the zooming body
for taking microphotographs, move the lever
backward.
Please refer to the instruction of the camera
head for the details of the Nikon DS Camera
Head operation.

Image cannot be focused even with the

zooming body at the highest position.
For using the 0.5X auxiliary objective or for
observing a tall sample, you may not be able
to focus on the sample even if turning the
focus knob to raise the zooming body to its
highest position.
In this case, use an optional C-ER auxiliary
adapter.
