Note: If the COA label is attached to a part that is replaced, return the old part with the label attached to the
customer, or provide a letter to the customer stating what the label was originally on the computer and what
the label part number, serial number, and product key were.

2010 LCD unit

For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• "1010 Battery pack" on page 58
• "1020 Bottom slot cover" on page 59
• "1040 Hard disk drive or solid-state drive assembly" on page 61
• "1050 PCI Express Mini Card for wireless LAN" on page 62
• "1060 PCI Express Mini Card for wireless WAN or mSATA solid-state drive" on page 63
• "1070 Keyboard" on page 66
• "1080 Keyboard bezel assembly" on page 69
• "1130 System board assembly, thermal fan assembly, and backup battery" on page 74
Removal steps of LCD unit
In step 1 , release the antenna cables from the cable guides.
When installing:
• Ensure that the cables are attached to the cable guides firmly.
• When you route the cables, ensure that they are not subject to any tension. Tension could cause the
cables to be damaged by the cable guides, or a wire to be broken.
