Do not place flammable or combustible materials near the projector! Barco large screen projection products are designed and manufactured to meet the most stringent safety regulations. This projector radiates heat on its external surfaces and from ventilation ducts during normal operation, which is both normal and safe.

1. Safety replacement parts as they may degrade the safety of this projector. Slots and openings in this equipment are provided for ventilation. To ensure reliable operation of the projector and to protect it from overheating, these openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the projector too close to walls, or other similar surface.

Replacement parts: When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used original Barco replacement parts or authorized replacement parts which have the same characteristics as the Barco original part. Gently flip the projector over so that its top panel is facing up. Rotate the screws securing the cable cover. Note: To remove the cable cover, reverse the previous step.

Installation 3.5 Adjusting the Projected Image Adjusting the Projector’s Position To determine where to position the projector, consider the size and shape of your screen, the location of your power outlets, and the distance between the projector and the rest of your equipment. Here are some general guidelines: Position the projector on a flat surface at a right angle to the screen.
4. User Controls 3.6 Safety Cover Installation By installing a safety cover (optional part), the projector can be mounted vertically to display images in portrait orientation. Procedure: Align and hook the safety cover to the side of the projector, as shown in the illustration below. Push the safety cover upwards until it locks into place.
