Selects whether to keep the current camera settings
when you turn off the power.
Displays the picture on the monitor while recording it to a card.
Sets the beep sound used for button operations and
adjusts the volume.
Sets the sound made when the shutter button is pressed
and adjusts the volume.
Changes the control dial, arrow pad and direct button
functions.
Selects whether to set the shutter speed, aperture value and
exposure compensation in 1/3EV steps or in 1/2EV steps.
Lets you assign a frequently used function to the
camera's custom button.
Lets you assign frequently used functions as shortcut
menus.
Customizes settings which are activated in the r
mode.
Displays the settings in the shooting mode on the
monitor.
Adjusts the sound volume during playback.
Selects the number of frames in the index display.
Selects a language for on-screen display.
Sets the date and time.
Sets the beep sound used for warnings and adjusts the

Sets the time from the moment the camera was last
operated until it enters sleep mode.

Adjusts the brightness of the viewfinder or monitor.
Sets the measurement unit (m/ft) used during manual focus.
Selects NTSC or PAL according to your TV's video signal
type. TV video signal types differ depending on the region.
Turns on the AF illuminator to illuminate a dark subject.
Sets whether the camera is connected to a PC or a
printer with the USB cable.
