To fix brownout issues on a Spektrum AR9020 receiver:
1. Use higher capacity power sources: Use two 2-cell 2300 mAh A123 battery packs as dual power sources. 2. Connect both packs separately: Plug one pack into the main receiver power input and the second into an unused receiver channel. 3. Use quality receiver switches: Ensure each battery pack has its own high-quality power switch to maintain reliable power delivery. 4. Avoid voltage drops below 3.2V: Brownouts occur when voltage drops below 3.2V, even briefly.
This setup improves voltage stability and prevents receiver reboots.

Binding teaches the receiver the specific code of the transmitter, so it will only connect to that transmitter. 1. To bind an AR9020 to a DSM2 or DSMX transmitter, insert the bind plug in the BIND/DATA port on the receiver.
4. Follow the procedures of your specific transmitter to enter Bind Mode. The system will connect within a few seconds. Once connected, the LED on the receiver will go solid, indicating the system is connected. 5. Remove the bind plug from the BIND/DATA port on the receiver before you power off the transmitter and store it in a convenient place.
NOTICE: Failsafe features vary according to receiver, so if using a receiver other than the AR9020, consult your receiver’ s instructions for the failsafes that apply. Before flight, ALWAYS confirm your binding is good and failsafe is set. To do this, make sure the system is connected turn your transmitter off.
