It takes a long time to start EpsonNet Config.
Cause
The Novell Client service is installed.
The printers on the IPX network do not appear in the EpsonNet Config dialog box.
Cause
The printer is turned off.
The printer is not in the same segment as
the computer where you installed
EpsonNet Config.
You have not logged in to the target
NetWare server with supervisor privileges.
Cannot monitor the printer using EPSON Status Monitor.
Cause
You set the NDS Print Server settings for
the printer using EpsonNet Config for
Windows.
For users of printers not supporting NetWare queue-based printing
Nothing prints even though clients have sent data to the printer.
Cause
Clients may not be registered, or the
network interface may not be working
correctly.

Printing a Network Status Sheet

Before you start configuring the network interface, be sure to print a network status sheet that
contains important information such as the current configuration and the MAC address of the
network interface.
What to do
Double-click Network in Control Panel, and then double-click the
network adapter that does not use the IPX/SPX-compatible protocol.
Clear the items related to IPX to unbind IPX.
What to do
Turn on the printer.
To search for network interfaces in other segments, use Search
options of EpsonNet Config.
From the computer on which EpsonNet Config is installed, log in to
the target NetWare server with supervisor privileges.
What to do
Re-configure the printer assigned as the print server using NetWare
Administrator.
What to do
Make sure clients are registered as users of the NetWare server. Also,
make sure the network interface is working correctly.
