Note:
❏ You cannot print a status sheet in the following cases: the printer has started printing, it is offline,
or it is not ready to print.

Initializing Your Printer

To initialize your printer, turn on the printer while pressing the Cancel Job button on the
printer's control panel.
Note:
Some printer models do not support this function.
Caution:

Note that all changes made to the printer and network settings are cleared when you initialize
the printer using this method. Therefore, do not initialize your printer except in the case you
forget the EpsonNet Config password.

Reformatting the Hard Disk Drive

To reformat the Hard Disk Drive, follow the instructions below.
Note:
Some printer models do not support this function.
1. Make sure the printer is turned off.
2. Hold down the Down button while you turn on the printer.
3. When you see the message Support Mode on the LCD panel, select HDD Format in the
support menu.
Note:
❏ After reformatting the Hard Disk Drive, the printer will automatically reboot.
❏ When you want to erase only the fonts installed from the Adobe PostScript 3 (PS3), follow steps 1
through 3 above. Select PS3 HDD Init when the Adobe PostScript 3 ROM is installed.
❏ When installing a Hard Disk Drive from a different printer, reformat it with this function.
