Job 2: multiple pages

Load all pages in the automatic document feeder of the scanner. Place the pages according
to the drawing on the scanner.

Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

Press Go/Send.
Job 3: mixed content (text and graphics)

Place the document on the flatbed of the scanner.

Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

Press Content repeatedly until mixed is selected.

Press Fax Resolution repeatedly until fine is selected.

Press Go/Send.
Job 4: photo (400 x 400 dpi)

Place the photo on the flatbed of the scanner.

Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

Press Content repeatedly until photo is selected.

Press Fax Resolution, and then select ultra fine.

Press Go/Send.
Job 5: colored original (credit card receipt)

Make a black and white copy of your original. This often produces a document that is much
clearer and more easily faxed.

Place the copy on the flatbed of the scanner.

Press Fax/Scan Mode repeatedly until Enter Phone # appears on the control panel display.

Enter the fax recipient phone number on the numeric keypad.

Press Content repeatedly until mixed is selected.
