    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS WARNING Make sure that the voltage set is suitable for the instrument (the voltage is indicated next to the power inlet). When using electric products, always follow basic precautions, including the following: Read all of these instructions before using the product. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children.

  • Page 6 PREPARATION This section contains information about setting up your instrument and preparing to play. Be sure to go through this section carefully before using this instrument. POWER SUPPLY Your instrument will run from a power adapter (DC12V ). Plug the DC output cable from the Power adapter into the DC IN jack on the rear panel of your instrument, then plug the Power adapter (or the AC cable of the Power Adapter) into a convenient wall AC power socket.

    SELECTING AND PLAYING THE VOICES Your instrument has 128 sounds in the internal sound library numbered from 01 to 128, and 8 Drum Kits numbered from 129 to 136. Sound 137 is the SOUND EFFECT preset. It is possible to play up to two sounds for the right hand (DUAL) and one sound for the left hand (SPLIT).

    SELECT A DUAL VOICE There are 10 sounds available for the Dual Voice function. NORMAL RIGHT VOICE SINGLE FINGERED SPLIT STYLE PERCUSSION DEMO MIDI IN MIDI OUT Dual voice Flag Press one of the buttons, the dual voice flag will appear on the multi display. In this mode, you can play two different voices by pressing one key.

    Press now the key on the keyboard where the new Auto Accomp. Split point is desired. Note that sometimes it is necessary to press the key more than one time to set the new Split point. This may depend by the status of the internal computer. The display shows the new Split point Release the SELECT button.

    TRANSPOSE It is possible to Transpose the natural key ( C ) of your instrument up or down.     PITCH BEND The PITCH BEND wheel is located on the left side of your keyboard and can be used to tune the pitch of the keyboard. By pushing the wheel upwards, the keyboard pitch will be increased. By pulling the wheel downwards the keyboard pitch will be decreased. Push the wheel to the top position for approximately 2 seconds.
  • Page 14 SINGLE FINGER MODE The SINGLE FINGER Mode fingering makes it simple to produce beautifully orchestrated auto accompaniment using major , seventh , minor and minor-seventh chords by pressing a minimum number of keys.     Note that when in Fingered mode the keyboard will recognizes the chords also played with a second different Single Finger system.     SYNCHRO START Press the SYNCHRO-START button if you want the auto accompaniment to start when you play the first note or chord on the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT section of the keyboard. If you press the SYNCHRO-START button, the BEAT indicator dots on the display will flash at the current tempo.
  • Page 18 TEMPO The [-TEMPO+] buttons can be used to control the tempo of the Auto Accompaniment section, the DEMO songs and the record/play back of a song recording.     AUTOMATIC SET UP This function allows you to recall the best registration for each rhythm and when a style is selected and the AUTOMATIC SET-UP activated (the icon appears on the bottom right part of the display), a nice registration for both the left hand and right hand parts will be automatically selected.

    Please note that whenever you store a new registration in one of the REGISTRATION MEMORY position, all settings previously stored in that position will be erased and replaced by the new settings. RECALLING THE SETTINGS The settings stored to a REGISTRATION MEMORY can be recalled by simply pressing the appropriate button.

    RECORDING FUNCTION Your instrument allows you to record and playback what you have played on the keyboard. Four melody tracks and one accompaniment track can be recorded separately and they can be addressed using the number [1] to [5] in the numeric key pad: nr. [1] is for the auto accompaniment and number [2] to [5] to address four separate melody tracks.

  • Page 35 SELEZIONARE E SUONARE I SUONI DISPONIBILI Il vostro strumento dispone di 128 suoni nella libreria interna numerati da 01 a 128, 8 Drum Kits numerati da 129 a 136. Il suono 137 comprende la lista Sound Effects. E’ possibile suonare fino a due suoni per la mano destra (DUAL) e un suono per la mano sinistra (SPLIT).

In questo modo possiamo ora suonare due suoni contemporaneamente sulla tastiera.
  • Page 37 Tramite il pulsante SELECT selezionare la funzione SINGLE or FINGERED sul display e una volta nella posizione SINGLE or FINGERED mantenere il pulsante SELECT premuto. Premere ora il tasto dove programmare il nuovo punto di Split. A volte è necessario premere il tasto più volte prima di selezionare il nuovo Split. Questo è dovuto dallo stato del computer interno.
  • Page 38 TRANSPOSE La tonalità naturale dello strumento è DO, ma è possibile variarla. NORMAL RIGHT VOICE SINGLE FINGERED SPLIT STYLE PERCUSSION DEMO MIDI IN MIDI OUT Transpose Value Per cambiare la tonalità dello strumento, è sufficiente premere il pulsante TRANSPOSE [+] o [-] il numero delle volte necessario secondo le indicazioni della tabella.
  • Page 39 PITCH BEND La ruota del Pitch Bend è situata alla sinistra dello strumento e viene usata per cambiare il pitch (intonazione) dello strumento mentre si suona in tempo reale fino a +/- 2 semitoni. Spingendo la ruota verso l’alto al massimo della sua corsa e mantenendo la ruota nella posizione massima per circa 2 secondi il display indica il valore di default.
  • Page 40 ACCOMPAGNAMENTO SINGLE FINGER Il sistema SINGLE FINGER permette di produrre degli accompagnamenti automatici molto elaborati usando accordi maggiori, minori, in settima ed in settima diminuita usando il minimo numero di tasti.   • Page 41 ACCORDI FINGERED Premere il pulsante SELECT fino a selezionare la funzione FINGERED sul display. E’ possibile suonare degli accordi completi in modo tradizionale. Di seguito viene indicata la tabella degli accordi disponibili.

  • Page 43 SYNCHRO START Quando la funzione SYNCHRO è attivata, il ritmo prescelto inizia non appena si suona la prima nota con la tastiera di accompagnamento. Quando questa funzione viene selezionata, l’indicatore del tempo inizia a lampeggiare sul display. INTRO/ENDING Premendo questo pulsante prima di azionare il ritmo, quest' ultimo inizierà con un'introduzione (INTRO) per poi continuare con il ritmo normale.

  • Page 47 FUNZIONE RECORD Il vostro strumento permette di memorizzare e riprodurre quello che suonate sullo strumento. Quattro tracce di melodia ed una di accompagnamento possono essere registrate separatamente e selezionate usando i pulsanti da [1] a [5] nella tastiera numerica. Il numero [1] seleziona la traccia dell’accompagnamento, i pulsanti da [2] a [5] selezionano le tracce della melodia.
  • Page 48 Accendere lo strumento, tenendo premuti i pulsanti [+] e [-] . Il display indica Reseting Attivare la funzione Reset solo se necessario. Tutti i dati programmati dall'utente vengono automaticamente cancellati dalla memoria RAM interna. I programmi preimpostati dalla Orla verranno automaticamente ripristinati.
