I I . S A F E T Y As you begin using your Celebrity during daily activities, you will probably encounter situations for which you will need some practice negotiating on your Scooter. Simply take your time as you operate your Celebrity and you will soon be in full and confident control as you maneuver through doorways, on and off elevators, up and down ramps, and over moderate terrain.

I V . D E S C R I P T I O N Your Celebrity is a motorized electric Scooter designed to enhance your personal mobility. Your Celebrity is an indoor/ outdoor Scooter designed to travel primarily on smooth surfaces, such as pavement, roads, parking lots, floors, and driveways.

I V . D E S C R I P T I O N Manual Freewheel Lever Whenever you need or want to push your Celebrity for short distances, you can put it in manual freewheel mode. WARNING! Before placing your Celebrity into or taking it out of freewheel mode, make certain that the key is removed from the key switch.
B A T T E R I E S A N D C H A R G I N G Your Celebrity uses two long-lasting, 12-volt, deep-cycle batteries that are sealed and maintenance free. They are recharged by an onboard 3-amp charging system designed for ease of use and convenience. n Charge your Celebritys batteries prior to using it for the first time.

B A T T E R I E S A N D C H A R G I N G How can I get maximum range or distance per charge? Rarely will you have ideal driving conditionssmooth, flat, hard driving surfaces with no wind or curves. Often, you will face hills, pavement cracks, uneven and loosely packed surfaces, curves, and wind.

Fresh batteries arrive daily at Pride and are shipped fully charged to our customers. During shipping, the batteries may encounter temperature extremes that can influence their initial performance.

B A S I C T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G Any electromechanical device requires occasional troubleshooting. However, most problems that arise can usually be solved with a bit of thought and common sense. Many of these problems occur because the batteries are not fully charged or because the batteries are worn down and can no longer hold a charge.
