If a static public IP address is assigned to your xDSL or cable Internet account, you must assign this to the VPON-580.

    Note: See the software manual for more troubleshooting guide. Upgrading the firmware You can upgrade the firmware of the VPON-580 by using a CD-RW, a USB flash drive or a USB hard drive. Insert the CD-RD or USB device into the VPON-580 and follow the prompts.
