Change it from mouse mode to IR mode. The unit will reboot. If the VP-9008 / VP-9012 / VP-9016 is in mouse running mode, a graphical user interface (GUI) with clickable buttons will be displayed on screen as shown below. In this running mode, the IR remote control will not function.

The IR remote control has four gray triangular buttons surrounding the OK button, resembling a baseball diamond. These are the primary buttons that you will be using the majority of the time.

Browse for the saved copy of the updated firmware and click revise program then start to the update process.
