The remote machine does
not support relay
broadcasting.
The machine has no
cartridge.
The selected setting is not

No recipient is registered in
the selected speed dialing
button or code.

registered for speed dialing
when [Directory] was
pressed.
No dialing had been made
when [Redial/Pause] was
pressed.
There is a document jam.
Paper has run out or there
was a jam in the paper
feeder.
There is a paper jam.
The size of paper loaded in
the machine does not match
the paper size setting.
The data from the PC was

Action
Send the fax without using
relay feature.
Install cartridge.
Skip the setting.
Select a registered button or
code.
Register recipients for speed
dialing.
Press [Redial/Pause] only
after dialing had been made
previously.
Clear the document jam.
Load paper or clear the
paper jam, and press [Stop/
Reset].
Clear the paper jam.
Load the correct-size paper
or change the paper size
setting.
Check if the software is
installed properly or if the
printer cable is properly
