The PTY function can be used to select one
or more programme types, such as pop

indicates that the function is active. This func-

Automatic frequency update – AF
The function selects the strongest transmitter
for the set station. In order to find a strong
transmitter the function may, in exceptional
cases, need to search the entire FM wave-
length.
