Clean
the battery box
after
removing
the battery for
storage.
Dry
the
battery
box
and,

paint
is
missing,
re-paint
the
area.

Checking the Battery Charge Status
If you suspect
a
problem with
the battery
(
1),
use a
hydrometer
(2)
to measure
the
"specific
gravity"
of
the battery
electrolyte. The
higher
the reading
on
the
hydrometer,
the
closer your
battery is to
full
charge.
If you do not have
a
hydrometer,
see your Honda dealer.
