CompactFlash Socket (optional)

The CompactFlash
socket is used for inserting a CompactFlash

a small removable mass storage device designed with flash technology - a non-volatile storage
solution that does not require a battery to retain data indefinitely. The CompactFlash
ogy is widely used in products such as portable and desktop computers, digital cameras, hand-
held data collection scanners, PDAs, Pocket PCs, handy terminals and personal communicators.
