The Polycom Touch Control device shows the following presence icons for
Favorites registered with a Presence Service.

If your system is registered to a Microsoft Office Communications Server
(OCS) or Microsoft
Lync™ Server 2010 directory server, refer to

Presence States
on page 30.
Depending on how your system is configured, you might be able to search a
Microsoft Office Communications Server or Microsoft Lync Server 2010
directory, view a list of Microsoft OCS or Microsoft Lync contacts, see if the
contacts are online, and call them without knowing or remembering their
addresses.
Microsoft Office Communications Server and Microsoft Lync Server 2010 directory
searches only return an entry whose last name begins with your search string. First
names beginning with the search string are not returned in the results.
Description
One of the contact's devices is set to Do Not
Disturb.
At least one of the contact's devices is in a call,
and none of the devices is set to Do Not Disturb.
At least one of the contact's devices is available
for a call, and the contact's other devices are
available, away, or offline.
The contact's devices are either idle or offline.
All of the contact's devices are offline.
The presence state for all of the contact's
devices is unknown.
