Chapter 8 Heat Map - HIKVISION iVMS-5200 User Manual

Chapter 8
Purpose:
Heat map is a graphical representation of data represented by colors. The heat map function of
the camera usually be used to analyze the visit times and dwell time of customers in a configured
area.
Before you start:
Please added a heat map network camera to the iVMS-5200P and properly configure the
corresponding area. The added camera should have been configured with heat map rule.
Note: For adding heat map network camera to the iVMS-5200P, please refer to the User Manual of
iVMS-5200 Professional Web Manager. For configuring heat map rule, please refer to the User Manual
of the heat map network camera.
Click Tool->Heat Map to open the Heat Map page.
Steps:
1. Open the Heat Map page.
2. Click to select a heat map camera in the area panel.
3. Set the start time and end time as desired.
4. Click Generate Heat Map and the heat map of the camera displays. In the heat map, the red
color block (255, 0, 0) indicates the most welcome area, and blue color block (0, 0, 255) indicates
the less-popular area.
