1.3.4 Setting the burner head
The burner head is set as a function of the water
heater's required flow rate. During the commissioning of
the water heater, the position of the burner head must
be set to the value stated in the table below. Please also
refer to the burner's instruction manual.
The setting of the burner head for Riello front-mounted
burners is as follows:

The air valve is set as a function of the water heater's
required flow rate. During the commissioning of the water
heater, the position of the air valve must be set to the
value stated in the table below. Please refer also to the
burner's instruction manual.
The setting of the air valve for Riello front-mounted
burners is as follows:

The values above are recommended settings and have
been determined under laboratory conditions.
A maximum CO
figure of 12.5% applies to oil. If the CO
2
figure does not meet the requirements after the air valve
has been set, the latter must be readjusted.
