UNPACKING THE PRINTER
Checking the parts
As you unpack the printer, check that you have all the parts shown below and
that none have been damaged during transportation
1. Printer
2. Ribbon cartridge
3. Printer cover
4. Paper rack (guide)
5. Driver software and User manual CD
6. PC-Printer Interface cable
After removing the parts, save the packing materials in case you need to
transport your printer.
Removing the protective materials
The printer is protected during shipping by locking the paper sprockets and the
printer cover are prevented from vibration by using paper tape. These
protective items must be removed before you turn the printer on.
