1. Copy the driver for the HBA card from the ThinkServer EasyStartup DVD that comes with your server to
a USB storage device. Connect the USB storage device to your server.
2. Use the following commands to install the driver.
e:
cd HBA
Pnputil –i –a *.inf
Notes:
• e: represents the drive letter of your USB storage device.
• The HBA represents the name of the folder where the driver is stored. Use the corresponding folder
name on your server.
• The elxdrvr-fc-2.72.012.001-10.exe represents the name of the driver. Use the corresponding driver
name on your server.
3. Restart your server after the installation completes.

Installing the driver for a CNA card

To install the driver for a CNA card, do the following:
1. Copy the driver for the CNA card from the ThinkServer EasyStartup DVD that comes with your server to
a USB storage device. Connect the USB storage device to your server.
2. Use the following commands to install the driver.
e:
cd rd540_win_2008_hyperv_qle8242_nic
Pnputil –i –a *.inf
Notes:
• e: represents the drive letter of your USB storage device.
• The rd540_win_2008_hyperv_qle8242_nic represents the name of the folder where the driver is
stored. Use the corresponding folder name on your server.
• The qln6x64 represents the name of the driver. Use the corresponding driver name on your server.
3. Restart your server after the installation completes.

Installing the Citrix XenServer hypervisor

This topic provides instructions on how to install the following hypervisors:
• Citrix XenServer 6.0.2 hypervisor
• Citrix XenServer 6.1 hypervisor
To install the Citrix XenServer hypervisor, do the following:
1. Insert the installation disc into the optical drive that you have set as the first startup device. Then,
start the server from the optical drive.
2. When the Citrix XenServer installation welcome window is displayed, press Enter.
3. Select the appropriate keyboard for the system, select OK, and then press Enter.
4. When the Citrix XenServer setup window is displayed, select OK and then press Enter.
5. Read the End User License Agreement, select Accept EULA, and then press Enter.
Note: If the Action To Perform window is displayed, configure the settings as you need. Select OK
and then press Enter.
