The washer-extractor must be installed
and commissioned by an approved Cus-
tomer Service technician or authorised
Service Dealer.
Installation
A concrete floor is the most suitable installa-
tion surface. Please note:
^ The machine must be level and securely
positioned.
^ Do not install the machine on a 'soft' base
such as floorboards as this could result in
more vibration during the spin cycles.
^ If the machine is installed on a raised
plinth it should be secured using the butt
straps supplied with the machine.
If there is not already a concrete plinth
on-site, the Miele Spare Parts department of-
fer a steel plinth. The steel plinth must be se-
cured to the floor, (see the enclosed installa-
tion plan).
To avoid the possibility of frost damage on
no account install the machine in a room
which is exposed to frost.

Transit fittings

When the machine has been installed in its
final position, only then remove the red tran-
sit fittings marked "A", "B". and "C".
