Press the
[2IN1] copies two pages on a sheet of paper.
[4IN1] copies four pages on a sheet of paper.
[OFF] makes this function inactive.
Press the [SETTING/OK] button.

If you have selected "2IN1" or "4IN1" at the previous step, the LCD screen shows "ORIGINAL ORIENTATION".
Continue the following steps.
If you have selected "OFF" at the previous step, you return to the top layer of the menu. You are finished with
the setting operation here.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button.
The LCD screen shows "SET ORIGINAL" and illustrates how to place the original on the original glass.
Place the first original face down on the original glass.

1) Open the platen cover.
2) Place the original face down on the original glass.
3) Align the original against the left rear corner of the original glass as illustrated on the LCD screen.

Be sure to place the original in the same orientation as the one selected at step 8.
Press the [SETTING/OK] and/or [START] button.

The equipment starts scanning the original. Wait until the LCD screen shows "NEXT ORIGINAL?".
[SETTING/OK] shows the next screen for confirmation. Press the [START] button to start scanning.
[START] starts scanning immediately.
