2.COPY FUNCTIONS

Making one or more copies

Follow the common basic steps below to make a copy. When you want to make more than one copy, change the number
of copies.
Place the original face down.

1) Open the platen cover.
2) Place the original face down on the original glass.
3) Align the original against the left rear corner of the original glass.
Do not place heavy objects (4 kg/9 lb. or over) on the original glass and do not force it down.
Breaking the glass could injure you.
When you use the transparent original such as overhead transparencies and tracing paper, place a blank plain
sheet of paper - the same size or a larger sheet - over the original.
When you make one copy, skip the next step.

Press the
Pressing the button once changes the number of copies by one. Holding down the button changes it quickly.
You can also change the number of copies on the basic setting menu.
1) Press the [SETTING/OK] button to enter the basic setting menu.
2) Select the large number indication on the upper right corner of the menu with the
