8.0 OPTIONAL BLOWER INSTALLATION

TURN OFF THE GAS AND ELECTRICAL POWER BEFORE SERVICING THIS APPLIANCE.
USE ONLY WOLF STEEL APPROVED OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES AND REPLACEMENT PARTS WITH
THIS APPLIANCE. USING NON-LISTED ACCESSORIES (BLOWERS, DOORS, LOUVRES, TRIMS, GAS
COMPONENTS, VENTING COMPONENTS, ETC.) COULD RESULT IN A SAFETY HAZARD AND WILL
ENSURE THAT THE FAN'S POWER CORD IS NOT IN CONTACT WITH ANY SURFACE OF THE
APPLIANCE TO PREVENT ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR FIRE DAMAGE. DO NOT RUN THE POWER

ACCESSING THE BLOWER

BE CAREFUL NOT TO TEAR THE BURNER TRAIN GASKET. A REPLACEMENT GASKET CAN BE
THE WIRE HARNESS PROVIDED IN THIS KIT IS A UNIVERSAL HARNESS. WHEN INSTALLED, ENSURE
THAT ANY EXCESS WIRE IS CONTAINED, PREVENTING IT FROM MAKING CONTACT WITH MOVING
8.1.1 Remove the valve access door.
8.1.2 Open the main door.
8.1.3 Carefully remove the logs.
8.1.3a (BGD36CFG) Carefully remove the glass and
glass ember tray.
8.1.4 Remove the 7 screws illustrated in and lift out
the log support.
8.1.4a (BGD36CFG) Remove the top defl ector and porcelain panels from
the fi rebox.
8.1.5 Remove the 8 perimeter screws as illustrated and lift out the burner
base. (The gas line fl ex-connector should provide suffi cient move-
ment to permit shifting the burner assembly to the side).
8.1.6 Reverse procedure to re-assemble.
