Connection of the receiver
1.
Connect the end of the 10-pin flat cable to the receiver. The red marked wire on the 10-pin flat cable
is assigned to Contact 10 (5 V Positive). The contacts are assigned as follows:
- Contact 1 = Channel 1
- Contact 2 = Channel 2
- Contact 3 = Channel 3
- Contact 4 = Channel 4
- Contact 5 = Channel 5
- Contact 6 = Channel 6
- Contact 7 = Channel 7
- Contact 8 = Channel 8
- Contact 9 = Ground / Negative (–)
- Contact 10 = 5 V / Positive (+)
The signals of the 8 inputs (channels 1 – 8) are measured and processed by the composite signal converter.
All available signals are combined into a composite signal pursuant to the specifications for RC remote
control systems (pulse width between 1 and 2 ms). Due to measuring of the signals and signal processing,
there will be a delay of one frame length. However, this has no effect during operation and is therefore only
mentioned for the sake of completeness.
The measured servo signals may appear in any order, parallel, in sequence or overlapping. There is
no limitation, so that the composite signal converter can be used for all common systems. A sync break
between the different signals is also not required.
For the receiver's power supply, it is sufficient to connect contact 9 (negative / –) and 10
(positive / +) to a single servo connection cable.
observe that the composite signal converters are assigned without gaps! In a 6-channel
system, this means inputs 1 - 6 and not 1 - 4 and then 6 and 7. With this assignment, the
electronics would not recognized channels 6 and 7!
due to the many remote control receiver sizes and builds on the market, we cannot give
any detailed installation notes for the receiver. depending on the receiver used, you
may either install it between the PCbs in the grid frame or on the reinforcement plate.
2.
Attach the receiver firmly on the stabilizer with double-side adhesive tape (not included) or any other
material.
