4.1 Features

Guard system for limiting the sound level
• Tamper-proof 2-channel sound level limiter with measurement microphone to meet legal noise regulations
e.g. in discotheques
• For insertion between mixer or controller and PA amplifier(s)
• Guards the speaker level and attenuates the output signal when the level is exceeded, muting can be
switched on
• 3 operating modes can be selected: limiter with muting after 60 seconds, muting after 60 seconds, limiter
• Threshold control for setting the threshold point of the limiter
• 3-color LED indicators warn of impending muting when level is exceeded
• Inputs and outputs via balanced XLR connectors
• Trimmer and mode selector for on-site calibration behind removable cover plate
• All audio connectors and controls can be sealed
• Rack installation, 1 U
• External warning indicators for wall or rack mounting available
