4. DESCRIPTION

The OMNITRONIC FX-001 was designed for professional applications. The inputs and outputs are
located on the rear panel, the control elements on the front panel. The FX-001 offers two channels, each
with an output level control. Both channels can be provided with 16 different effects. The bypass switch
allows for the direct comparison between the unprocessed and the processed signals.
■ Power switch
Turns power to the processor on and off. When powered
on, the indicator lights up.
■ Effect LEDs
The two LED chains indicate the effect algorithm currently
selected. One LED is assigned to each effect.
■ Level controls
For adjusting the output level.
■ Inputs
Balanced XLR inputs and unbal. 6.3 mm jacks for
connecting audio units with line level outputs.
■ Outputs
Balanced XLR connectors and unbal. 6.3 mm jacks for
connecting audio units with line level.
■ Effect selector
Control for selecting one of the 16 effects for both
channels.
■ Bypass selector
In bypass mode (button pressed and LED lights) the input
will be directly linked to the output jack. Use this switch
for instant comparison of the original sound with the
processed sound.
■ AC input with fuseholder
Used to plug the supplied power cord in. Only replace the
fuse when the device is disconnected from mains. Only
use fuses of the same rating and power. The correct fuse
value is specified on the rear panel.
