17.0 – Cranking Test
This test is to check the starter motor condition during cranking. The voltage
drop during the cranking cycle will give indication on the condition of the starter
motor.

Please test the battery first before doing the Cranking test. A weak or bad
battery will affect the results of this test.
From the main MENU, select 'Cranking' by scrolling down using
key. (Fig.26)
Press key to continue and the display will show: (Fig.26)
Switch the ignition ON and crank the engine until it starts running. The
captured value is the voltage drop during cranking and it should indicate
more than 9.2V. Anything below this voltage shows that the starter has
problem.
