Vent Cap must be at least
7' (2.13m) above any
public walkway
Vent cap must 4' (1.2m)
from or below any doors,
windows or gravity air inlet
Vent cap must be at least 4' (1.2m)
horizontally from any electric meters,
gas meters, or relief equipment.
Direct combustion air intake (air inlet permanently
fastened to the boiler for combustion air only) has not
distance requirement.
When multiple boilers are used, a clearance of 12" (300 mm) is required between vent caps.
VENTING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: If there is a potential for excessive winds, special
