  • Page 4 Both versions feature a 3-way bias/rectifier switch, allowing the player a choice between class A cathode bias, class AB grid bias, as well as the sounds of both tube and solid state rectifiers. The Prosonic is rated at 60 Watts R.M.S. and includes, among its many features, 2 gain controls.

  • Page 6 PROSONIC FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS A. INPUTS - Input 1 is the main guitar input for the Prosonic. Input 2 is a -3dB (low sensitivity) input for the Prosonic. B. NORMAL/DRIVE - Allows front panel selection of the NORMAL (Vintage sound) or DRIVE (Hi Gain).
  • Page 7 K. REVERB- (Combo only) Controls the strength of the Reverb (both channels). This effect may be selected on or off via the footswitch. L. PILOT JEWEL - Illuminated when the Prosonic is receiving power. If the lamp burns out, unplug the amplifier, unscrew the green jewel and replace the lamp with a type T47 light bulb.
  • Page 8 Doing so could severely damage the unit and present a serious safety hazard. If the amplifier repeatedly blows fuses, take it to an authorized Fender warranty service center. D. STANDBY SWITCH - Toggles between the operate and stand-by mode. When the switch is in the stand-by mode, no sound will be heard.
