MENU SETUP

DATE/TIME SETUP

1. Date Format:
The format options are:
• Year / Month / Day
• Month / Day / Year
• Day / Month / Year
2. Date/ Time Adjustment:
Clock is 24 hr (example: 16:00 would be 4:00 pm)
and the year range is 2000 to 2099.
To adjust Date/Time
1. Use the Record
to scroll to the digit you want to change.
2. Press the fast forward (+)
buttons to increase or decrease the value.
MOTION DETECTION SENSITIVITY SETUP
Motion detection allows you to set your DVR to record ONLY when motion is detected that exceeds the motion
threshhold you set. This is a good option to save space on your SD card.
1. Sensitivity Bar:
The black bar indicates the amount of motion
being detected (MD energy) and the red line
indicates the set MD threshold.
2. MD Energy:
The amount of movement generated by the
moving object.
3. MD Threshold:
Press the + and - buttons to set the motion
threshold value higher or lower.
• The motion threshold bar allows you to test how much MD energy is generated by aiming the unit at a steadily
moving object that is in the field of view that you will be monitoring. The energy bar will fluctuate based on the
movement of the object. If the energy bar moves past the threshold, then you should change the threshold to a
higher value to avoid false alarms and recordings.
