3. Start most cooking operations on a higher setting and then decrease to a lower

element is turned OFF indicating that the surface may be hot to the touch. The
flashing "H" indicator will turn OFF after 30 minutes or less.

Surface Controls Lock Feature

It is possible to lock the surface element controls by touching and holding down on

properly activated.
