bracket for the external unitis wall-mounting" which is available on request. As regards the assembly follow the instructions enclosed in each respective box. We would also like to indicate some precautions to be taken during assembly: In areas susceptible to snowfalls By means of support walls or a base of metal sections the appliance must be lifted above ground level at a distance greater than the height of a maximum foreseeable snowfall...
External unit assembly After checking the suitability of the base (if prepared by a third party) mount the external unit adopting the following precedure: a) Position the appliance on the base using the elastic vibration-damping blocks if necessary. b) Tighten the anchor bolts slightly. c) Check that the appliance is horizontal in both directions (fig.
Laying and connection of cooling lines IMPORTANT: The presence of dirt or water inside the pipes to be used for the cooling lines could have a negative effect on the applianceis correct running. Normal copper pipes for thermohydraulic purposes do not offer the necessary garantees for such a task.

immediately, before leaving the site remember to: seal the ends of the piping, Ask the person in charge of the site to make sure that the piping does not get squashed, bent or damaged in any way. g) The piping and the appliances (internal and external 2 DEBURR 1 CUT THE PIPE WITH A units) are connected by means of binders.
connected, maintain this pressure for a while until sure that all impurities have been removed. To carry out such an operation it is necessary to procure a vacuum pump with a capacity equal to at least 40 l/min (0,66 l/s) and: By means of a flexible with a 1/4 attachment connect a header gauge to the external unitis gas line service connection (after unscrewing the cap).
3.6.2 For Models 8 Each internal unit must be equipped with its own condensa- te drainage line which on one side depends on the internal unitis condensate drainage connection and on the other side depends on the buildingis water drainage system or on an open receptacle.
3.7.1 Power supply link up The power must be supplied to the appliance by means of a general disconnector equipped with delayed fuses or with a thermomagnetic automatic circuit breaker with the following current capacities: Model Capacity ClimaPiù 8 HE : 10 A ClimaPiù...

Use of appliance by remote control The remote control supplied with the appliance has been designed with a robust frame and functions exceptionally well, it should nonetheless be handled with care. The following cautions should be observed: - avoid exposing it to rain, spillling water on its numeric pad or allowing it to fall in water, - it should not undergo heavy blows or be allowed to fall onto hard surfaces,...
Appliance activation/disactivation (T1 switch) This switch is used to turn the appliance on and off. As the appliance’s controls are equipped with an involatile memory the settings already made will not be erased when the appliance is disactivated. The T1 switch is used when the appliance is to be activated or disactivated for short periods of time.
Dehumidification function only This function dehumidifies the atmosphere only, leaving the room temperature practically unaltered. This function is, therefore, particularly useful inbetween seasons, on rainy days for example, when the temperature is agreeable but the excessive humidity is unpleasant. When this function is employed the temperature setting is ignored as is the fan speed which is kept at a minimum.
Direction positioning of air emission Direction of air flow may be horizontal or vertical. Air flow direction cannot be positioned by remote control. The fins on the inside of the air outlet can only be positioned manually to permit a horizontal emission of air (fig. 10). IMPORTANT: the horizontal direction may be altered only while the mobile deflector is still and in a fully open position.
External air inlet This function is only available in appliances equipped with the optional external air inlet, which represents an exclusive characteristic in this class of appliance. By pressing the T8 switch for the first time, the microfan in the external air inlet starts up and the airlock opens allowing the air in the room to be renewed.
4.11 Setting of operating programmes This appliance puts two different operating programmes at the user’s disposal which allow the user to program disactivation and activation (or vice versa) in advance (for example, it can be activated shortly before the expected arrival time in order to arrive home to a more pleasant temperature).
4.12 Activation and disactivation of operating programmes Once the operating programmes have been set, they can been activated or not according to the necessary contingents. Fig. 17 Activation may concern one or both programmes. In particular, every time the T11 switch Program activation is pressed the situation changes as follows: Fig.
Maintenance The air-conditioner which you have purchased has been designed in such a way as to diminish the maintenance tasks necessary and to render them within range of the user’s capacities. In fact, only three cleaning operations are necessay. Cleaning of internal unit filter To make sure that the inside air is correctly filtered and to assure that your air conditioner runs correctly, regularly clean the air filter.
Cleaning of external unit battery The battery’s function is to dissipate the heat extracted from the air-conditioned rooms into the atmosphere and in order for this to happen with maximum efficiency, cold air is blown across the battery by means of a fan. For this reason, dirt present in the air tends to accumulate inside the battery’s air inlet (dust, leaves etc.) which, in the long run, could make air circulation difficult and reduce the...
