Driving and operation
Automatic transmission
The automatic transmission permits
automatic gearshifting.
The engine can only be started when the
gear selector is in position P or N. When
starting in position N, depress the
footbrake or apply the handbrake. After
starting the engine, depress the brake
before selecting a gear. Do not accelerate
whilst selecting a gear. If a gear has been
selected and the brake is released, the
vehicle will "creep". Never operate the
accelerator and brake pedals
simultaneously. The selected gear is
displayed on the transmission display.
