Always leave the Turntable 7 in the appliance during
use. Due to the rotating Turntable 7 an even distri-
bution of energy and microwaves is assured. The
turntable 7 has an anti-stick coating. This permits
the easy removal of food remnants.
Attention!
DO NOT use knives, forks or other sharp metal
objects when interacting with the turntable 7.
These could damage the anti-stick coating and
thus render the turntable 7 unusable.

Cooking in the microwave oven

When a microwave process (cooking, grilling,
thawing) is complete, a fivefold acoustic signal is
sounded and "End" and "Hot" appear alternatively
in the LED indicator 2.
Note:
Before the first usage, switch the grill function "bottom
heat" on for 5 minutes: Press the button Grill u
three times. The symbol for Grill function "bottom
heat" appears in the LED indicator 2. Using
the rotary switch 4, set it to 5 minutes. Press the
button "Start/Quick Start" t. As the heating element is
lightly greased, a slight smell could be caused. This
is harmless and stops after a short time. Provide for
sufficient ventilation. Open a window.
Should you wish to use the classical basic functions
of microwaving (warming, boiling, cooking), you
must merely select the microwave power level and
programme the desired cooking time. You can choose
between eight power levels from 900 to 100 watts,
with a maximum cooking time of 95 minutes.
1) Selecting the power level
• Press the button i "Microwave" as required
to select the required Power Level.
• 1x for 900 watt power.
• 2x for 800 watt power.
• 3x for 700 watt power.
• 4x for 600 watt power.
• 5x for 500 watt power.
• 6x for 400 watt power.
• 7x for 300 watt power.
• 8x for 200 watt power.
• 9x for 100 watt power.
The power level is shown in the LED indicator 2
(e.g. P 800 at 800 Watt Power).
2) Setting the cooking time
Turn the rotary switch 4 to set the cooking time.
The increments for setting the time with the
control knob are as follows:
• from 0 to 1 min: in 5 second increments
• from 1 to 5 min: in 10 second increments
• from 5 to 10 min: in 30 second increments
• from 10 to 30 min: in 1 minute increments
• from 30 to 95 min: in 5 minute increments
Aborting/stopping an input process
Press the button Erase/Stop/Child Safety" z once
to abort or stop an input process. The appliance
reverts to standby mode.
