    Figure 1. Drawbar connection Power up your locomotive with your transformer. Your locomotive is designed to operate on 7-18 volts alternating current. Virtually all Lionel and Lionel-compatible alternating-current transformers are suitable. Note! Do not power your locomotive with direct current (DC) transformers.

    During the course of normal operations, the lamp may require replacement. Locate and remove the expired lamp and replace the lamp with Lionel part no. 600-0363-300, available from your authorized Lionel Service Center. (See the Lionel Service section on page 8 for more information.)
