Filling and Draining Water Tray
1. Fill Water Tray (60) before every use with
enough clean, cold water to submerge 3/4 of the
Water Pump (51). Do not overfill the Tray.
2. To drain the Water Tray (60) place a large
bucket under the Drain Plug (62). Remove
the Drain Plug located at the bottom of the
Water Tray. Once drained, replace the Drain
Plug. The user may also pull out the Water Tray
from the Tile Saw and pour out the water.
3. After draining the water, rinse Tray
to remove any sediment.

GENERAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Clean out any sediment from previous uses
and fill the Water Tray with clean water so that
the Water Pump is about 3/4 submerged.
2. Adjust the Miter and Bevel settings as needed — see
previous page. Lock all settings in place.
3. Place the workpiece on the Table and
firmly against the Miter Gauge and
Scale Plates. See Figure 18 –19.
4. Make sure the workpiece is clear of the Blade.
Plug in the Tile Saw, insert the Key and turn
the Power Switch to the ON position.
5. Make sure the pump is supplying
enough water to the Saw Blade.
CAUTION: To prevent excessive wear on the Saw
Blade, make sure to maintain a continuous flow of
water over the entire Saw Blade while cutting.
6. Let the Blade build up to full speed before cutting.
7. Hold the tile firmly against the Miter Gauge
and Scale Plates with one hand. Always keep
fingers a safe distance away from the Saw
Blade. With the other hand, hold the Handle
and slowly move the Saw Blade over the tile.
Note: If the Tile Saw motor stops suddenly while
cutting, turn the Power Switch (18) to its OFF
position. Wait approximately 5 minutes. Reset the
Circuit Breaker (17) by pushing in the button. Make
sure the workpiece is clear of the Blade and turn the
Power Switch to its ON position to resume cutting.
8. When the cut is made, turn the Saw OFF. Wait
for the Saw Blade to come to a complete stop
before removing any part of the workpiece.
9. To prevent accidents, turn off the Saw, remove the
Key, and unplug the Tile Saw after use. Clean, then
store the Tile Saw indoors out of children's reach.
