Telephone base settings

LCD language

You can select the language used for all screen displays.
1. Press MENU/
main menu.
2. Use q or
CID
/�ELECT.

3. Press /�ELECT to choose >LCD language.
MENU
4. Press q or

or >Español.
5. Press /�ELECT to save your preference. There is

a confirmation tone and the screen returns to the
previous menu.

Voice language

You can select English or French as the voice language to be used for your
answering system's voice prompts and for the voice caller ID announce
feature. The voice language is preset to English.
To set the voice language for your answering system or the voice
caller ID announce feature:
1. When the telephone base is in idle mode, press
MENU/
�ELECT
2. Press q or p
CID
press /�ELECT.

4. To set the voice language for the answering system,
/�ELECT to choose >Answering sys.
