Step 1: Check kit contents.
• 1101 Secure Device Server
• This printed quick start guide
• CD-ROM containing SDT Connector and PortShare software
• Universal input 12-VDC power pack
Step 2: Connect the hardware.
• Plug the power pack into the AC power receptacle and connect the DC power
cable to the 12-VDC power socket on the LES1101A-R2.
• Connect the LES1101A-R2 LAN port to your network.
• Connect your serial device to the serial port on the DB9 male connector.
• By default, the LES1101A-R2 is configured in RS-232 mode. RS-232, RS-422,
and RS-485 are software-selectable. Simply press the button to Reset the unit
back to factory default (RS-232 mode),
