5. Network

The IP Camera acts as one of the network devices. It is therefore allowed "IP" to be assigned,
so certain network functionalities can be implementable within this device. This section
describes these configurations. Fundamentally, for instance, the IP assignment of the device
can be done via DHCP server, manually fixed IP option or PPPoE to obtain IP from service
provider.

General

Device IP configuration, includes DHCP, Static IP setting and PPPoE. "Enable ARP/Ping"
enable device to accept ARP or ping packets from the network. Disable this option may
provide extra security from intentional ping.
PPPOE: The point-to-point protocol over Ethernet (PPPOE) is a network
Protocol for encapsulating point to point frames inside Ethernet frames.
