Transferring Your Images (Windows)

You can transfer images from your Palmcorder tape to your PC (Personal Computer).
System Requirements (for Palmcorder USB Device Driver/PHOTOVU
MPEG4 Movie Messenger System)
• IBM PC/AT or compatible
• Pentium ll Processor: 266 MHz or more
• RAM: 64 MB or more
• CD-ROM drive (for installation)
• Mouse or other pointing device
• Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP preinstalled
PC with USB port
• 2 MB minimum available hard disk space
(for Palmcorder USB Device Driver)
• 15 MB minimum available hard disk
space (for PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie
Messenger System)
• 10 MB minimum available hard disk
space (for Palmcorder File Converter)
• Minimum 120 MB of free hard disk space
for Motion picture transfer from DV tape to
PC (for PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie
Messenger System)
*Satisfy the conditions recommended by Microsoft for Windows XP.
Palmcorder USB Device Driver/Web Camera/SD Drive
Install Palmcorder USB Device Driver.
You can transfer motion/still picture to your PC using Movie Messenger, Web Camera or
SD Drive via USB. Using this driver allows data communication between the Memory Card
and PC.
PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie Messenger System
Install PHOTOVU/MPEG4 Movie Messenger System.
You can transfer motion/still pictures to your PC from a Mini DV Tape via USB and i.LINK.
Palmcorder File Converter
Install File Converter.
You can convert the JPEG data of your PC into the DCF (Design rule for Camera File
System) data, and transfer this data to your Palmcorder via USB. Using this driver allows
data communication between the Memory Card and PC.
